After two Emmy, a Grammy, and decades as a popular TV host and stand-up comedian, Kathy Griffin is finally ready for her first worldwide tour, after many years with a strong wish from fans outside the United States! After all the fuss around the picture with Donald Trump’s head, she got a lot of criticism, but looking at the poster and the name of her new show, we now realize she’s ready to answer.
“Who knew? One photo that sparked a conversation led to offers from around the world. So I look forward to making audiences laugh, telling them the whole sorted, ridiculous, but hilarious story. My show isn’t for the faint of heart so leave your kids at home. We’ve got some serious smack talking to do about everything and everyone, but with love of course…” says Kathy Griffin about the tour.
Kathy actually holds a Guinness World Record for most television-broadcast stand-up shows throughout history, and in recent years she has made great success with the documentary “My Life on the D-List” and her own evening show “Kathy”. She has also become a best-selling author, and peaked the New York Times best-selling list of her memos in 2009.
She warmed up to the World Tour last year with an 80-city tour called “Like a Boss” for sold-out houses all over the place. It’s just to start enjoying yourself and tickets will be on sale on Friday, September 1 at 9:00 pm on Ticketmaster.
