“The comic laureate of unglamorous-but-glorious womanhood” – The Guardian
“This is why she is one of the most successful comedians in the country” – The Times
Award-winning comedian and writer Sarah Millican announces her first ever European stand-up tour. She is back with a brand new show, and is set to perform in Stockholm, Stavanger, Oslo and Copenhagen in March of 2019.
You’ll learn about road rage, Rescue Men, farting in hospital pants, what can happen at a bra fitting, how to tee up a compliment, plus tips on knicker buying and how to talk to shop assistants.
Funny, frank and unapologetically filthy.
Following on from her fifth sold-out UK tour, Control Enthusiast marks ten years since Sarah established herself as one of the leading lights of the British Comedy scene by winning the Best Newcomer Award at the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe. In the subsequent years, Sarah has gone on to host three series of her critically acclaimed BBC2 series The Sarah Millican Television Programme, for which she received two BAFTA nominations and has become a familiar face on primetime shows such as QI, Live at the Apollo and The Royal Variety Performance.
In October 2017 she released her first book, How To Be Champion, which is part autobiography, part self-help, part confession, part celebration of being a common-or-garden woman. It became The Sunday Times No.1 Bestseller on release and shot back into the bestseller list when published in paperback in May 2018.
Sarah is also a founder member of Standard Issue, a smart, funny magazine-style podcast made for women by women.
The Control Enthusiast tour takes place in March 2019, with tickets going on sale Friday 20th July 2018. Sarah’s last tour, Outsider, was seen by over 225,000 people.
