Trevor is the GOAT! I relate so much to his journey and his humour is always smart! I xant wait to embark in another trip with him during this new show!
I love Trevor’s funny take on politics and racism. As serious as those subjects are, he shows how silly racism and certain policies actually are. I love his impressions too, especially Trump!
In need of a desperate night out break from being mumsy and doing laundry where I can just laugh and forget my worries! My favourite moment is when Trevor wittingly depicts British Politics and satires Rishi Sunak being PM to the once British Raj whilst simultaneously pointing out the British population whose views have not progressed!! So funny and clever
My son showed me my first video of Trevor Noah the one about England Colonising india and by far this is the best one ever i watch it on repeat, his words are true and realistically funny, dont even get me started on the accents and facial expresions pure laughter all the way. Would love an evening out with my son.
His duelling banjos when explaining the musicality of the American accents in the deep South is one of the funniest and cleverest pieces of comedy I’ve seen and heard.
I love Trevor’s sense of humour. How he can take a serious subject and take the humour out of it. I enjoy how he can imitate different accents. I find him to be quite intelligent to be able to come up with such humourous, yet true skits.
I would say my personal favorite joke is the one about Britain.
– Why you British do not like immigrants?
– Because they bring their language, their food!
– Hm, sounds very British for me…
I like when Trevor talks about growing up in South Africa. So real but humorous at the same time.
One of the best comedians of our time, empathises world issues with wit.
My favourite Trevor Noah moment is in his live show when he commented about a Nigerian arriving late for his show because of his birthday, and Trevor said he was actually arriving early.
Love his impressions and humorous take on serious subjects (politics, racism and even gender)! Also the side quests with hosting award shows and not actually offending people with the “roasts”!
Trevor’s accents especially Trump gets me laughing every time. Would be a great night out with my husband!
My favorite Trevor Noah moment has to be his Netflix special Son of Patricia. That’s where I first became a huge fan! His storytelling and the way he switches voices and accents is just genius. I’ve never seen him live before, so winning this would be an absolute dream!
His podcast What Now is the best and his conversation with Simon Sinek is my favourite
Trevor was the one who make me interested into stand up and son of Patricia is my favourite. Hope to see your performance in person.
One of my favourite Trevor Noah moments has to be reading his accounts from “Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood” with my mum. One of the many times we struggled to get through a chapter due to our hysterics was “Trevor, Pray” when he recounted the “fantastic idea” he had at around five years old to shit on the kitchen floor instead of being robbed of his shitting “moment” by using the outhouse in the pouring rain. After his shit was discovered at the bottom of the dustbin, instead of admitting what he had done, he thought best to allow everyone to believe it was in fact witchcraft. Ultimately, this ended with two hours of old grannies praying and an apology to God:
“When you pray, He stops and He takes His time and He listens, and I had subjected Him to two hours of old grannies praying when I knew that with all the pain and suffering in the world He had more important things to deal with than my shit.”
Favourite clip- explaing all the Indian Gods to British colonisers.
My favourite Noah moment is when he said Russian is the same as speaking backwards
So many amazing Trevor moments, from his old stand up materials to his time on the daily show! My favourite and most memorable Trevor moment is definitely when he discovered tacos 🌮 😂😂🤣 if you know you know…”I’ll just squeeze it hard and make sure it doesn’t spill out”, “ohhh that’s what they all think, on minute they think they’ve got it but then it spills everywhere, even on your top” 😂😂…honourable mention to his time speaking German at the shop and the shop keeper was scared cause his mannerisms and tone was similar to that of hitler 😭😭
I love all the bits on languages and accents but for me the best moment has to be Trevor Noah’s hilarious story of downloading and using the any and all resources available to him when learning German, including Hitler speeches, to try to impress his father and in turn, being called “The Black Hitler”. Having recently begun learning a second language, thinking back to this story, always helps me to see the lighter funnier side when it gets challenging.
As a French person, I have thoroughly enjoyed his moment on the Daily Show when he speaks to a French person in the audience and his fiancee
Amazing accent 🤌🇫🇷
I have loved Trevor from the early days of his career and the one that had me lol’ing was his show The Daywalker .. ‘he’s the one … the Daywalker’.
As a South African I am proud of his success and all his achievements on the international stage which he has handled with charm and grace.
loved every episode of Trevor’s The Daily Show, including the pandemic hoodie days! He just speaks common sense and it was so refreshing to see someone on an American show who had worldly experience and views. My favourite was probably when he paid tribute to the women in his life that raised him, too often the unsung heroes. Miss seeing you Trevor but long may you be a success
One of my favourite moments is his infamous meme during Covid where he shuts down his work laptop and opens up his personal laptop. Helped me through some tough days. Seeing his show would be the best way to celebrate my birthday in June.
My fav one is Trevor talking about a Britisher complaining when Rishu Sunak was elected as PM in GB. This was on Daily show and all the diff accents Trevor can do
I as a South African, enjoyed his show about the load shedding in South Africa when he had to talk to City Power about his house that had no electricity. His interaction between the lady that worked for City Power was priceless.
As a former SAfrican resident I really enjoyed the show when he mimiced a teller at a South African supermarket. Was absolutely hysterical and so true to life there. Would love to see his show in London
Anytime he comes on stage he owns it. So fun so witty. I really love him. The special for Netflix was a must watch.
Attention all passengers! Your gate has changed. Its not D2. It’s C15. It’s not D2. It’s C15. If you can go to D2. Oh you will find nothing.
Trevor you’re the funniest! Haven’t seen you since back in Joburg!
My best impression is Trevor’s Jacob Zuma impression. I fall off my chair with laughter. I just love watching Trevor, such an amazing human being.
For me, I am impressed by his two books. I read twice for Born a crime and one time for Into the Uncut Grass. These are so inspiring and make me reflect on my life. Learn his wisdom and humor!!!
There’s loads of great moments in his comedy, but my favourite is Born a Crime and reading it at the same time as my mum (in different countries) and sharing all the funny bits. So funny, well written.
I love Travor
Is just a smart and funny guy
And I love his accents and funny faces
My fav gig is the special on Netflix
With
YOU NEVER HAD A TACOOOOOS
I laugh every time
When Trevor’s mother stood up to the cabby driver! Epic!
I have too many, I love his podcast too What Now. I love his stories of his family, especially the one of his little brother when they’re chatting in the car. Also Trevor’s impressions are hilarious!
Funniest Trevor for me is the time he met Julius in the restaurant after he was travelling SADC telling jokes about him and his bad English 😭😂 it’s not his funniest joke but I liked how he came face to face with one of his topics and survived 😂 Also it was the time when he was really passionate about Africas political climate and I miss that era 🤎
We had ‘Off the record’ tickets for Apr 2020. That was obviously postponed indefinitely. Then finally in Nov 2023, Trevor arrived at the O2 and opened with the line “We made it!”
His show was exactly what we needed after years of lockdown.
As someone learning sign language I love the bit he does about the interpreter who just makes the whole thing up!
So many to choose from but love when Trevor does his excellent accents and when he came out late at the O2 and said ‘African time!’
One of my favorite Trevor Noah moments is from his “Son of Patricia” stand-up special, where he talks about encountering a racist taxi driver in Chicago who didn’t want to pick him up because he assumed Trevor was going to rob him.
Instead of getting angry, Trevor decided to have fun with it. He tells the story of how he started acting suspicious on purpose, crouching down near the taxi and speaking in a deep voice saying, “Hey man… I need to go… downtown.” The driver speeds away, and Trevor celebrates this small victory against prejudice with humor.
It was definitely of Trevor talking about his life in South Africa and how the was sent to a good school there so that he could speak good english but when he spoke god english at home he was made fun of. Basically his childhood stories- loved the one where he took his grandmom’s interview.
My favourite Trevor Noah show is ‘what now’ and my favourite ones are when he does a podcast his friends in particular ‘if I ruled the world’ They are hilarious. The amount of times I laughed out loud looking like a lunatic behind a wheels whilst driving to/from work.
My favourite Trevor moment is from his ‘Where was I’ Netflix special. The joke about Usain Bolt when he says ‘and now I’m going to it, Butterfly style’. Then proceeds to doing the funniest butterfly dance/hoping across stage!
Also his throwback comedy shows in South Africa were pretty hilarious! The jokes about the fake sign language guy at the Olympics. Also the interpretation of the South African airport staff on the intercoms 😂😂. ‘If you go to 3 you’ll find nothing ehh?!’ These are on YouTube my absolute favourites.
“Attention all passengers” Trevor Noah on YouTube
My Favourite Trevor Noah set is How the British took over India
My fav comment is when he talks about his grandmother. That he saw her just before she passed and she was so happy to see him
Trevor Noah has a lot of great jokes, but one of his best and most memorable jokes are about learning different languages and accents: I was in stitches listening to him switch languages and accents …. an amazing ability to mimic different accents so naturally !
I grew up watching Trevor Noah specials on TV and have loved him all my life! Seeing him take the world by storm is incredible. The one moment I relate to more than anything is when he spoke about a conversation he had with a valley girl who asked him stupid questions about SA 😭
I grew up watching Trevor on the ,also back when dvd and cds were I thing I would buy cds and one of my fav moments is when on a show he was telling a story of when he went out eating with a couple of his friends from overseas and they bumped into julis malema
It has to be the piece he did about great Briton colonising India, but all his pieces on politics are too funny. I also relate to his stories of South Africa & family as a fellow South African
Trevor’s fufi (his pet dog) story was hilarious and heartwarming. How he can see life in every small moment like this is amazing
Great India
Just his whole demeanor, the way he carries himself. Witty, so smart, so intune with reality. His journey amazing. The way he found himself. I saw it through his hair. He started to own his own identity who he was and where he came from. Love the episode when he went home and shared his beautiful family with us. There is not one episode that stands out more then another. It’s just Trevor xx
One of my favorite Trevor Noah moments has to be when he hilariously explained the differences between British, American, and South African accents—his impressions were spot on!
