‘Daniel Sloss: HUBRIS’ is the all-new, 11th solo show by Scotland’s international comedy superstar, hot on the heels of his ground-breaking, global smash-hit ‘Daniel Sloss: X’.
Due to the ongoing uncertainty of venues being able to fully reopen due to the ongoing Covid-19 issues, the January and February dates of the ‘Daniel Sloss: HUBRIS tour had to be rescheduled.
All tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date. In the event that ticket holders cannot attend the new date, they should please contact their point of purchase for a full refund by March 1st 2022 for the Bergen show and March 2nd 2022 for the Oslo Show.
Team Sloss understand that the postponement of this show is disappointing news and we share that disappointment and apologise for any inconvenience.
Please take care, stay safe and we look forward to seeing you very soon.
Lauded by the ancient Greeks, hubris is the devastating, dangerous and of course exciting character trait that often led to the hero’s downfall. So, how does one of the world’s hottest stand-ups follow up on a extraordinary show like ‘X’ (dealing with sexual assault), or two Netflix specials (streamed in 190 countries, 26 languages) – ‘DARK’ (about grieving) & ‘Jigsaw’ (credited with over 95,000 breakups and cited in over 200 divorces with fans even bringing their decree nisi’s for him to autograph at shows)? With a phenomenal new show that doesn’t have a theme or a twist or require any trigger warnings.
‘Daniel Sloss: HUBRIS’ is the next chapter in this Odyssey.
Daniel has sold out six New York solo off-Broadway seasons, appeared on U.S TV’s ‘Conan’ ten times, broken box office records at the world’s biggest arts festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and has to date, toured across an amazing 50 countries. The ‘X’ tour juggernaut spanned the globe with 300 performances across 40 countries – throughout Europe, UK, U.S., Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and even packing a Moscow arena (becoming Russia’s biggest-ever English language comedy show). The film of ‘X’ is now showing on HBO in U.S. and Canada and became the first UK comedy special to make its UK premiere in cinemas, with its nationwide release at Vue in 2020, just before Covid-19 shut the world down. His debut book “Everyone You Hate is Going to Die” was also delayed and will now be published in May 2021 on Penguin Random House imprints Knopf and William Heinemann.
‘Daniel Sloss: HUBRIS’ is Daniel’s incredible new show. He performed it in New York and LA however when the world shut down due to COVID-19, most of Daniel’s 2020 tour dates had to be moved to 2021 of course. But….. due to his huge following and goo reputation, he was the first stand-up allowed to tour the UK again during Covid-19 – first with drive-in shows in July and from September, selling out government approve safe socially distanced/Covid-secure big theatres, comedy clubs and music venues all across the country – even including two shows at the London Palladium! Indoors shows are selling out as fast as they can be added and as we now can finally look forward to the “new normal”, we’re super excited to present the show for you!
