Iliza Shlesinger is ready with her new stand-up shpw ”Iliza Live”, and this time she is coming to Oslo, Malmö, Antwerp, Amstedam and Reykjavik. The 34 year old comedian grew up in Texas, studied movies in Boston and then moved to Los Angeles. Nine years ago, when she was only 25 years old, she was not hust the youngest comedian ever to win the NBC competition “Last Comic Standing”, but also the first woman.
Shlesinger’s comedy is always up to date, with social commentary, politics, pop culture and feminism as continuous themes, but also physically. She use the whole scene, pose, dance, and she often becomes the characters in her own jokes. She is also a master of observation comedy.

In November, her first book “Girl Logic: The Genuis and the Absurdity”, a subeversively funny collection of essays and observations on a confident woman’s approach to friendship, singlehood, and relationships, will be published.
