About Ken
Ken Jeong has established himself as one of today’s top comedic stars and on June 23rd you have the opportunity to see him live at the Adelphi Theatre in London with his brand new stand-up show.
Jeong returned to his stand-up roots for his first-ever Netflix special, ‘Ken Jeong: You Complete Me, Ho’ which launched globally earlier this year. In his latest stand-up show, Ken Jeon talks about how he went from being a doctor to a comedy superstar and he even opens up about his wife’s courageous battle with breast cancer led him to starring in one of the biggest comedy franchises of all time, The Hangover, and more recently, Crazy Rich Asians.
His role as the Asian-mobster “Mr. Chow” in The Hangover earned him an MTV Movie Award in 2010, and the film itself won The Golden Globe for Best Comedy/Musical and Critics’ Choice Award for Best Comedy. The film was the highest-grossing R-rated comedy to date, only to be trumped by The Hangover part 2.
This past summer, Jeong appeared in the box office sensation, Crazy Rich Asian which earned multiple nominations including Golden Globes, SAG, and People’s Choice. The film won the “Best Acting Ensemble” award at the National Board of Review awards as well as “Best Comedy” at the Critics’ Choice Awards.
