Scott Baker-Marflitt: Ex-artist manager – now a stand-up comedian and writer.

In spring 2019, he releases his own YouTube series via the international stand-up organizer A Comic Soul’s YouTube channel. Here he directs a slant on the typical Norwegian – with an Englishman’s dry humor and razor-sharp sarcasm. In the spring of 2019, he will also be debating as host of A Comic Soul and presenting the Tax’s new humor-evening Up and Comic Souls on Tøyen in Oslo. There is also planned a Norwegian tour with him and the American stand-up comedian Forrest Shaw, writer for among others. Jim Jeffries, Autumn 2019.

Scott started with a stand-up a couple of years ago and had until then worked for several years as an artist manager in England. Here he toured the world with some of the hottest English indie artists. There are stories of that. But he got bored. Since he has made people laugh all his life, he started writing down his jokes. Then he thought they could do well on stage. He joined the music industry and in recent years he has made stand-up both at clubs in Norway and England with great feedback from the audience. In 2018, he also won a stand-up competition for amateurs in Edinburgh.

In the shows, he shares his absurd life experiences from the music industry and deep-rooted frustrations as an Englishman with a delightful edge.

As he himself says:
«I’m an only child! It was either starting writing to performing as a catharsis or starting punching people at will. But apparently punching people that are not allowed or something.
