My favorite moment is when she’s talking about walking down the isle and stops to take the groom aside to say “I can be the greatest thing that ever happened to you, or I can be your worst nightmare, I just need a project” when he doesn’t tear up at seeing her walk down the isle.
In one of her interactions with the audience she asks a couple who have apparently been married for a long time for advice, and the lady says: Don’t go to bed mad! And Taylor asks her : Don’t go to bed mad? When do you f*ing sleep? I wake up mad!
Taylor Tomlinson has had so many great moments, but one that stands out for me is from her special “Quarter-Life Crisis” when she talks about the pressure of being in her 20s and the hilarious realizations she has about adulthood. Specifically, the bit where she jokes about being in her “quarter-life crisis” and how she’s just “trying to do the math” on how much time she has left to figure everything out. Her self-deprecating humor and wit make those moments so relatable and funny. It’s a perfect example of how she balances vulnerability and humor.
Arm puffs
Oh my gosh there are so many favourite moments 🤩 But if I had to pick just one, it would be Taylor’s moment of describing how difficult it is to get a twenty-something dude from a dating app to put on a condom; kind of as difficult as it is to convince a 5-year old to put a jacket on on top of his Halloween costume 😂 And when she impersonates it I just crack up!!
I remember stumbling across Taylor on YouTube a few years ago, not long before she found mainstream success through her amazing Netflix specials… There was one joke in particular that instantly made me one of her biggest fans – “I’m like a wild animal in bed, way more afraid of you than you are of me”! Such a brilliant joke from an equally brilliant mind!
I love Taylor’s comedy, I get in a such s good mood. So many jokes are just right on but what comes to mind is the chocolate/raisin joke. Am I chocolate or raisin?
So many favorite moments, love her Netflix specials. “I’m a wild animal in bed, way more afraid of you than you are of me” is a classic. Also love how she brings up the dead mom but in the funniest scenarios, being able to joke about about such deep pain takes a lot of skill.
I have seen all of her Netflix shows and it’s difficult to choose just one moment. And for me it is usually the combination of her tone and her incredible facial expressions. But one of my favourite moments is definitely when she talks about bringing someone home to meet her parents for the first time and how the parents then pretend to be normal and delightful. I related a lot to that one 😅 or when she thought she swallowed her airpod! Amazing!
Her bits about mental health always make me laugh, particularly the one about finding out that she has BPD was so dark and hilarious! “Well maybe you don’t have to say you are bipolar, you can say you HAVE bipolar” never gets old xD
Also as an avid fan of Conan’s podcasts, I’ve listened to Taylor’s episodes a lot of times. Their dynamic and the whole game recognizes game vibe is so cool.
My absolute favorite from her is her comment “I date women now” from just this week in After midnight. I immediately shared the clip in all my lesbian groups. We have been waiting for long now! The joy is palpable! ☺️
My favorite moment was watching Taylor’s career take off with her being the host of After Midnight!! I’ve been watching her for two years now and love watching her work with other comedians!
I love how in the early episodes of After Midnight, Taylor brought up the only review at the time was that her show was ”just okay” from USA Today and threw shade at them that ”game recognizes game”. So excited she’s coming to Stockholm!
My favorite is when she compares men who don’t wanna wear condoms to children not wanting to use a jacket over their Halloween costume. Her imitation of an upset child is hilarious and on point. 😀
When she says your twenties are for fishing to trash in your personality before it freezes over at thirty 😭 At 35 yrs old, brr 🥶
My favourite moment is not really a specific joke or something she has done. But it’s the moment she creates for me and my partner. He’ll call me in from his office with excitement in his voice going “Come look at this really funny clip” and it can be a YouTube short or a longer video of her doing a bit. I’ll sit down on his lap and he looks so happy to show it to me every single time. The look on his face laughing at her jokes brings me so much joy. I’d love to bring him some of that same joy by winning these tickets for him!
Honestly my favourite moment was just watching Taylor’s first special on a whim and being so totally in love with her comedy and stage presence straight away! Honourable mention is being a garbage person in our twenties and how that’s the time to fish trash out of the lake before it solidifies in our personality😁😅
First time I saw Taylor was when she talked about how older men calls her things like gorgeous and beautiful, “words with more than one syllable”.
Been a fan ever since.
From Stockholm here! My favourite moment Is when she talks about the fact that you don’t have guts to trust in your twenties. That’s why you’re so skinny. Hilarious! And made me a lot happier for my guts/ Amanda(Happy women in her thirties )
“So, anyway, I’ve been trying to figure out if I’m bisexual, or if I just binged Euphoria too fast”
And honestly any sketch of “after midnight”!
She’s so effortlessly fun!
