I would love to see Dr. Peterson. He has tough me a lot an made my life change
My favorite moment is any moment he gets the chance to explain his point without getting interrupted as this mostly ends the discussion, especially with ignorant people.
I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Peterson’s interview of Dr. Simone Gold about the truth surrounding January 6th. “It was a honey trap.”
The first time I heard Dr. Peterson speaking was at his first appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience in November 2016. Having just finished a Philosophy degree at a very woke university in Germany, his arguments against wokeness resonated deeply with me. Back then nobody in Germany except for some listeners of US podcasts knew who he was. And he changed my life profoundly. For years as a student at that university I thought there was something wrong with me because there was a quiet majority and a vocal woke minority. Finally I heard Dr. Peterson say out loud all the worry and frustration with wokeism I kept to myself. I did the self-authoring suite and eventually got the orientation in life I needed but didn’t have due to a lack of role models in my life. Dr. Peterson helped me to be my own role model.
One moment from Dr. Jordan B. Peterson that’s etched in my mind is when he said, ‘Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not to who someone else is today.’ It sounds simple, but it shifted my entire perspective. I used to constantly feel behind, like I wasn’t doing enough because someone else was always ahead. That mindset crushed my motivation. But Dr. Peterson’s words helped me realize the only real comparison that matters is with the person I was yesterday. It’s not about being the best—it’s about being better. That idea pulled me out of a rut, helped me track small wins, and reminded me that growth isn’t always loud or visible. Sometimes, it’s just quietly showing up for yourself, day after day. And that’s enough.
I’ve been following Dr. Peterson since 2019, and as a 21-year-old in Germany, I sometimes feel like a rare species—surely, I can’t be the only young woman here who listens to him? I’d love to go to the show just to confirm I’m not alone! In these crazy times, his words remind me that there’s still force for good in the world. Also, let’s be real—I can’t afford concerts this summer, but this event? This event, I will find a way to attend! Thank you for taking the time to read this!! ❤️
