Thank you
I missed seeing your show in Malmö in english some months ago. Now I can take my best friend Hussein to watch you in Arabic. We hope don’t lose the chance this time 😉
The establishment Basem the establishment
I think all his shows are good. He have a nice since of good jokes
Welcome to Malmö Bassem
“Palestinians are very difficult to kill I know because I am married to one, I tried many times”
I neeeeed to have some fun 😍🥲
A role model to every living person with and without an Arab heritage. How surprised I am to have a hero like this in real time. With a mouth like a sword. Cuts its way through everything.
One of my favorite moments from Bassem Youssef is from his satirical show Al-Bernameg when he humorously exposed the hypocrisy in politics, especially by mocking leaders’ exaggerated self-praise. It was brilliant how he used comedy to shed light on abuse of power and give people a voice during a time when many were afraid to speak up. His courage to blend humor with critique made that moment both inspiring and unforgettable.
Welcome to Malmo, we wait to meet youuuuu, me and my best friend 💜💜💜
I’ve always enjoyed the interactions between you and fellow comedian Jon Stewart, they’re consistently hilarious with such a natural and witty banter. My favorite moment, though, has to be your appearance at the Mark Twain Prize in 2022. In under five minutes, you managed to pack in a ton of hilarious jokes! Your sharp sarcasm always stands out, like when you mentioned the U.S. insurrection on October 7th, slyly suggesting they stick to what they do best, overthrowing other countries’ democracies. Absolutely brilliant!
I also love watching you absolutely humiliate people like Piers Morgan on their own shows. It’s a rare sight to see him quiet long enough for anyone to actually hear what his guest has to say! The way you managed to use his platform to educate and inform others, all while leaving a man who loves the sound of his own voice speechless, is nothing short of an incredible achievement.
Looking forward to have some fun so يلا please 😁
Would be great if you can tell us some of your experience from your interview with Pierce Morgan. Good to learn how black Comedy works 💪
The most beautiful moment when he use Comedy as a tool to educate people, encourage them to think critically while enjoying the show, raise awareness about current issues, and challenge those in power
The best of Egyptian sarcasm and dark humor but and the same time shedding light to the social issues and challenging the status quo. To be able to laugh at your fears and fight them is what Bassem taught me. Looking so forward to watching you – now that I have mastered Arabic after many years studying at Umm L Dunya and marrying an Egyptian😄🎉
My favourite line from Bassem was truly:
I went from saving lives to making fun of people who save lives. My mom is so proud.
